Four Leaf Clover

The four leaves represent hope, faith, love and luck. This is the most common belief.

The druids are said to have believed clovers had magical powers. They used them in their ceremonies for their protective abilities. 

Many believe it to have originated in Ireland, where it was considered a sacred symbol of the Celtic god Dagda. It was also associated with the Celtic goddess of love and beauty, Arianrhod.
