Ireland's Immigration Dilemma.
I want to discuss one of Ireland's most pressing issues- immigration. Now, let's be clear.Legal immigration is crucial. It bolsters our economy and enriches our culture. But, the surge in illegal immigration is something we can't ignore. Over the past few years, there's been a massive increase in applications for International Protection Accommodation Services. Many of these are without merit, putting a strain on our communities. Schools are overcrowded, doctor wait times continue to grow. Our tourism industry, once a cornerstone of our economy, has been destroyed.Illegal immigration has created challenges that the government has failed to address. Forcing economic migrants into communities without consulting residents is not the answer.Understandably, many Irish citizens oppose the creation of permanent migrant centres in their areas. In some cases the illegals outnumber the locals. These i pas centres are immune from planning regulations, stripping residents of their right to object. This needs to change, stricter border controls are needed to manage immigration. some of these unwanted don't even have passports. Immigration has never been an issue in Ireland, but that's not what's happening now.First thing we need is to look after Irish citizens Communities should have a say in decisions that impact them directly.
