The Journey

Some journeys we never want to end
Those happy days spent with loved ones
The joy of watching our children grow
The lives of those we lost
The life we know and accept will end
One more day to say what we never said
author: Patrick Conlan

Life is a journey filled with moments we hold dear, and some of these moments are so precious that we wish they could last forever. Whether it's the lives of those we've lost, happy days with loved ones, or watching our children grow, these are experiences that shape our hearts and minds, leaving a lasting imprint on our souls.

The people we have lost remain alive in our memories and hearts. Their presence is felt in the stories we tell, the lessons they taught us, and the love they shared. Though their journey may have ended, the impact they had on our lives continues to guide us. Cherishing these memories keeps their spirit alive and allows us to honor their legacy.

There are days when laughter fills the air, and joy seems to linger with every moment. Time spent with family and friends is a treasure that cannot be measured. These are the days we recount with fondness, longing for just one more moment of connection, love, and shared happiness. Embracing these memories can provide comfort and remind us of the power of human connection.

Children grow in the blink of an eye, transforming from curious toddlers to independent adults. Each milestone they achieve is a testament to their growth and potential. Watching them navigate the world brings pride and joy, but also a bittersweet awareness that these moments are fleeting. As parents and caregivers, we hold onto these memories, hoping to savor every stage of their journey.

Life is a beautiful, yet transient experience. We come to accept that every beginning has an end. Yet, in this acceptance, there is a profound appreciation for the life we lead. Each day offers an opportunity to live fully and to create memories that will be cherished by those we leave behind.

One More Day

If given the chance for one more day, what would you say? It is a reminder to express gratitude, love, and forgiveness. To say the words that linger in our hearts but often go unspoken. Seize the opportunity to connect, mend, and cherish those around you, making every moment count.

In the end, while some journeys may not last forever, their essence lives on in the love, memories, and stories we carry forward. These journeys remind us of the beauty of life and the importance of cherishing every moment we have.

Discovering Anamchara The Celtic Soul mate

Anamchara Soul mate In the Celtic tradition, there is a beautiful understanding of love and friendship. One of the fascinating ideas here is the idea of soul-love; the old Gaelic term for this is anamchara. Anam is the Gaelic word for soul and chara is the word for friend. So anamchara in the Celtic world was the “soul friend.”With the anamchara you could share your inner-most self, your mind and your heart. This friendship was an act of recognition and belonging. When you had an anamchara, your friendship cut across all convention, morality, and category. You were joined in an ancient and eternal way with the “friend of your soul.”The Celtic understanding did not set limitations of space or time on the soul. There is no cage for the soul. The soul is a divine light that flows into you and into your Other. Learn More
